Deette Stump

DeEtte Stump, FSA, MAAA has a diverse work experience that spans over several decades. DeEtte began their career at Horace Mann in 1988 as a Director & Associate Actuary in the Group Actuarial department and held that position for 10 years. Following this, DeEtte dedicated their time to being an At-Home Parent for their family from 1998 to 2003. In 2003, they rejoined Horace Mann as an Associate Actuary in the Life Finance & Planning department and progressively moved up to become a Director & Actuary in the same department from 2008 to 2013. DeEtte then transitioned to the Group Operations division, where they served as an Assistant Vice President & Actuary until 2020. Most recently, they have held the position of Vice President & Actuary, overseeing Group Operations.
