Fred Baskett

Fred Baskett is an accomplished IT professional with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as the IT AVP - Infrastructure Architecture at Horace Mann since November 2020, where responsibilities include strategic planning for the organization's infrastructure over the next five years. Prior to this role, Fred held various positions at Horace Mann, including IT Director of DevOps / Infrastructure Architect and IT Director of Mainframe Engineering / Infrastructure Architect, where significant contributions included enhancing infrastructure services and implementing disaster recovery redesigns. Fred's extensive experience spans multiple areas such as desktop deployment, network and server engineering, and mainframe performance improvement.
