Jim Gilbert, MBA, LUTCF, currently serves as an Agency Consultant at Horace Mann since September 2023. Previously, Jim was the Life Sales Manager at Frankenmuth Insurance from October 2017 to September 2023. Prior to that, Jim worked as an Instructor at Kaplan Financial Education, where instruction included pre-licensing courses for property/casualty, life, and health insurance, along with advanced risk management. Jim also owned an insurance agency for Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan from February 2005 to September 2016, specializing in multi-line insurance products and retirement planning. Additional managerial experience includes positions at Applebee's, Brinker International, and Carlson Hospitality Worldwide. Jim began a career in the US Navy as a Radioman from 1991 to 1993. Academic credentials include an MBA in Marketing from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Health Care Systems Administration from Ferris State University.
