Michelle Eccles is an experienced public relations and media professional with a robust career spanning several decades. Since April 2013, Michelle has served as the Public Relations Account Manager at Horace Mann and has held the position of Morning Edition Host at NPR Illinois since March 2018, where responsibilities include anchoring news, conducting interviews, and producing newscasts. In addition to these roles, Michelle co-founded NewMac Creative in August 2019 to create compelling video and audio content for nonprofits and small businesses. Previous experience includes positions as Brand Manager and News Director at WTAX-AM, News Director at WSOY-AM/FM, and various roles in news production and writing across several radio stations starting from 1989. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
