Lauren Thomson

Lauren Thomson is a skilled User Experience Designer currently serving as a Sr. User Experience Designer at Horizontal Digital since March 2021. Additionally, Lauren holds the position of Org Leader and Training Co-Chair for the Windy City Rollers since November 2022. Previous experience includes a role as a Sr. User Experience Designer at NextEra Analytics for a brief period in early 2021, and a progressive tenure at Kin + Carta from December 2014 to October 2019, where Lauren advanced through roles from User Experience Designer to Principal User Experience Designer. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Junior Designer and Graphic Design Intern at mcgarrybowen and an Art Direction Intern at Ogilvy & Mather Advertising. Lauren completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, attending from 2011 to 2014, and also studied at Trinity University from 2009 to 2010.
