Alistair Thomson

Alistair Thomson is the GM of People and Safety at Monarch Platform, bringing over 20 years of experience in environmental health, safety, and compliance across both private and public sectors in New Zealand. They served as an Environmental Health Officer for five years in local government and spent seven years with Maritime New Zealand as a small craft safety advisor and maritime officer, specializing in recreational boating safety. Alistair has also held various leadership roles, including GM Marine Operations at Fullers360 and National HSE Manager at Hortus, focusing on critical risk controls and human organizational performance. They completed a degree in Critical Risk Management at EMA in 2019.
