Lisa Prins has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Multimedia Equipment Operator at Meadowlands Sports Complex. In 2012, they began working as a Video Editor and Multimedia Intern at charity: water, as well as a Freelance Photographer at Spark & Ash Photography. In 2016, they became a Marketing Officer at Expect Hope, and in 2017 they began working as a Freelance UX Designer and a User Experience Designer at eduDAO. In 2020, they began working at Hospitable.com as a Customer Support, and at GoodSports International as a Creative Director and Interim Regional Manager. At Realty Sage, they are a UX Designer Intern.

Lisa Prins obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Electronic Media from Cedarville University between 2005 and 2009. Lisa then obtained a Certificate in Editing from New York University in 2015. In 2017, Lisa began taking courses at The Interaction Design Foundation, where they obtained a certification in Human-Computer Interaction in May 2017, and a certification in Design Thinking: The Beginner's Guide in September 2017. In 2016, they obtained a certification in UX Design Tools from Lynda.com, and in 2019 they obtained a certification in Information Visualization from the Interaction Design Foundation (IDF).
