Gary Morrison

Gary Morrison is the current Chief Executive Officer at Hostelworld. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Revenue Officer at DisplayNote Ltd from July 2020 to January 2022. In this role, Morrison was responsible for driving growth and aligning all revenue-generating departments. Gary also established and led the International efforts of Turning Technologies, including the teams in Belfast, Paris and Amsterdam. Under their tenure, annual revenue from International sales grew from under $100K to around $10M.

Morrison studied industrial psychology and history at the University of the Witwatersrand, before completing a BA Honours in industrial psychology at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit. Gary then undertook postgraduate study in international selling at the Technological University Dublin and eMarketing at the Digital Marketing Institute. Finally, they completed a course in executive leadership at Cornell University.
