Chris Yuan

Chris Yuan is an accomplished data analytics and insights professional with extensive experience in the finance and consulting sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Data Analytics & Insights at Hostplus since June 2021, Chris leads the fund's data capabilities and data transformation initiatives. Prior to this role, Chris was an Associate Director at KPMG Australia for a decade, focusing on management consulting and data analytics across various industries, including telecommunications, financial services, and government. Earlier career experiences include roles at Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd, the University of Melbourne, and Melbourne Business School, where Chris developed skills in functional consulting, IT support, and data analytics. Chris holds a Master of Science in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Economics, and Software Engineering from the University of Melbourne.
