Hot Potato Art Studio is a children’s art studio based in Gilbert, Arizona. We are dedicated to promoting creativity and confidence through art education.

Founded former teacher, Emily Bacon, Hot Potato Art Studio began as a small garage-based studio and has grown into a community-focused studio offering classes, camps, workshops, private tutoring, birthday parties, and school-site programs. Our mission is simple: to create a welcoming, inclusive space where young artists feel supported, capable, and excited to explore their creativity.

We believe art education is about more than finished projects. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to balance guided instruction with creative choice, helping students build skills, confidence, and problem-solving abilities while honoring their individual ideas and interests.

Hot Potato Art Studio serves children and teens across a wide age range and works closely with families, schools, libraries, recreation centers, and community partners. We are proud to be a woman-owned small business rooted in kindness, inclusivity, and a love of learning.
