Joe Emory

Joe Emory has extensive experience in human resources management, currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Hot Topic Inc. since April 2018. Emory's career at Hot Topic began in January 2001, progressing from Employee Relations to Manager of Employee Relations. Additionally, Emory has held the position of ER Manager at Torrid since 2001. Prior experience includes serving as Regional HR Manager for Ross Stores, overseeing HR functions for 90 stores in the Bay and Sacramento areas, and roles at Ross Dress for Less and Wherehouse Entertainment, where Emory worked as Director Store HR for nearly a decade. The foundational experience in human resources began at Carl's Jr Restaurants, where Emory worked as Human Resources Manager from 1979 to 1989.
