Summer Crawford

Summer Crawford has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Summer started their career as the Senior Director of Sales and Program Development at Alive International Preschool & Tobishima Academy in Japan, where they successfully managed multiple branches and implemented programs that increased the student base. Summer then transitioned to a management role at Walmart, starting as an Assistant Store Manager Operations and quickly moving up to oversee a $64 million facility with 275 employees. Their strong financial analysis and leadership skills helped increase annual sales profit by $6 million. Summer then joined GameStop as a Store Manager & Operations Trainer, where they leveraged their passion for gaming and customer retention skills to achieve successful outcomes in sales. Lastly, they became the Store Manager & Operations Leader at Hot Topic, where they grew the Atlanta store from under-achieving to a top-performing store in the southeast region, even during the challenging times of the Coronavirus.

Summer Crawford's education history starts in 2000 when they attended Vanderbilt University. Summer completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater, Communication Studies, and Film in 2004. Later, in 2014, they enrolled at the University of Southern California and obtained their Master of Arts degree in Education in 2015.
