Matt Weaver

Matt Weaver has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Matt is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Hotel Engine since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at AUTOPAY from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for developing financing software that integrated with various platforms using Java, MySQL, Node, and JavaScript. Matt also had experience with AWS technologies. Before that, they worked at Athlinks, a Life Time company, as a Principal Software Engineer and Team Lead from 2017 to 2020. Matt worked across the tech stack and gained experience in different programming languages. Earlier in their career, they worked at ReadyTalk from 2008 to 2017 as a Senior Software Engineer in R&D, focusing on conferencing and collaboration software. Matt utilized various technologies like Angular, Node, Java, Swift, Objective-C, C/C++, and cloud platforms. Their work at Lockheed Martin from 2004 to 2008 as a Senior Software Engineer involved web development, R&D, and enterprise bridging systems for the Department of Defense, using J2EE, .NET, Java, and Ruby.

Matt Weaver earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2003. Matt then completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the same university in 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Matt obtained certification in JavaScript Basic Skills from HackerRank in 2020. Matt also holds the Sun Certified Java Programmer certification.
