Remi Salmon is a Senior Data Engineer at Hotel Engine since March 2021, previously serving as a Data Engineer. Prior to this role, Remi was a self-employed Python developer specializing in geospatial data analysis, cloud computing, modeling, and optimization from January 2019 to February 2021. Remi’s experience includes a tenure at Houston Methodist as a Postdoctoral Fellow from September 2015 to September 2018, focusing on 3D modeling, finite-element analysis, and optimization for surgical outcomes, contributing to projects such as the breast cancer decision support project DESIREE using MATLAB, Python, and ANSYS.
