Lara Shaw

Lara Shaw has an extensive work experience in the hospitality industry and sales. Lara started their career as a Sales Manager at The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta in 1999. Lara then moved on to work as a Catering Manager at Hilton Atlanta NW and later at Holiday Inn & Suites Marietta. Lara then became the Director of Catering at DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta-Marietta in 2004. In 2006, they joined hotel SystemsPro as the Vice President of Sales and held that position until 2015. Lara then took on the role of Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Hotel Interactive, Inc. in February 2015. Lara also worked as the Vice President of Sales at BITAC Events from 2015 onwards. In 2016, Lara became the Vice President of Sales at HEALTHTAC - Senior Living Events and Senior Living News. Prior to their career in the hospitality industry, Lara worked as a Marketing & Events Coordinator for Angels Among Us Pet Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats from high kill shelters in GA.

Lara Shaw obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Consumer Affairs & Marketing from the University of Rhode Island, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. In 1993 and 1994, they attended Salt Lake Community College, where they pursued a certification in Legal Secretary and specialized in the field of Law.
