*During our 2017-2018 renovation we have donated about 1,000 linens and we consistently donate every month any unclaimed lost and found items to local charities

Sustainability: Positive change in the world
*Make a Green Choice Program – guest have an opportunity if they choose to decline changing their towels and sheets daily to help reduce our environmental impact
*Waste Management – we compost 75% of leftover food and recycle in both the hotel and restaurant to decrease landfill waste. We also recycle used soaps from Clean the World
*Energy Efficiency – we use energy efficient thermostat and lights to reduce our energy consumption
*Water Efficiency – we use flow shower heads, sink faucets, and toilets throughout the hotel
*Green Cleaning – we use biodegradable & organic cleaning products called Tersano Lotus Pro throughout our 236 rooms, 3,000 sq. feet meeting space, and restaurant
*Green Products – we use BeeKind products: natural ingredients and recyclable packaging. A portion of proceeds are donated to the Davis Entomology Department’s Honey Bee Research Program at the University of California. We have offer water stations to avoid the use of water bottles and offer plantable pencil as part of our welcome amenity.
*Office Operations – we use our internal app to communicate digitally when possible and we use our payroll self-service app to cut down on paper usage
