We love hotels. And we love filling them.

HotelCard was founded in 2009 with one simple idea: to help Swiss mountain hotels increase occupancy during the low season. It became known as the "half-fare travelcard for hotels" – and quickly grew into something bigger.

Today, over 80,000 travellers across Switzerland use our platform to book spontaneous getaways, spa weekends or city escapes – at exclusive member rates in more than 500 partner hotels across Switzerland and nearby regions.

Our mission: Boost occupancy in the hospitality industry while offering travellers more experience for less money.

As a sustainable distribution partner for the Swiss hotel industry, we run an innovative ecosystem with smart digital tools that help hotels market and sell their unused rooms to a selected audience – efficiently, commission-free and profitably.

Meanwhile, our members enjoy unbeatable hotel deals with up to 50% off – encouraging them to travel locally, more often and discover hidden gems close to home.

🔁 A true win-win:
We help our hotel partners – many of them family-run businesses – fill rooms during quieter periods. At the same time, our members benefit from outstanding value and new experiences. It’s a win-win for both sides.

🌍 Rediscover what’s nearby
Lakeside, mountain view or city centre – HotelCard helps you stay in places you’ve never stayed before, right around the corner. And supports Swiss tourism along the way.

🚀 Digital. Entrepreneurial. With heart.
We’re a young, dedicated team based in Zurich. We love tech, travel and thinking differently. Every day, we work to empower hotels with smart tools – and inspire more people to travel locally.
