Hotfix is an AI production operator designed to manage production reliability for modern software teams.

AI coding tools have dramatically accelerated how quickly software can be written and deployed. However, the process for responding to production failures has largely remained the same. Engineers are still responsible for investigating errors, tracing root causes across logs and systems, and implementing fixes.

Hotfix automates this investigation and remediation workflow.

The system connects directly to a team’s codebase and cloud infrastructure and continuously monitors how the application behaves in production. When an issue occurs, Hotfix investigates the failure, determines the likely cause, and generates a fix or remediation action automatically. Developers review and approve the resolution rather than performing the investigation manually.

Hotfix is initially focused on founders and small engineering teams shipping AI-generated software who do not have dedicated reliability or SRE infrastructure. Over time the platform is designed to become a broader reliability layer for teams that deploy software without dedicated operational support.

The company is currently participating in the Vercel AI Accelerator.
