Rick Gunzel

Rick Gunzel has a strong background in finance and telecommunications, with over two decades of experience in various leadership roles. RICK is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of FP&A at Hotwire Communications Ltd since March 2021. In this role, they have implemented the Hyperion system to streamline reporting and analytics for precise planning.

Prior to their current position, Gunzel worked at Charter Communications as the Vice President of Finance for Spectrum Enterprise from May 2016 to July 2020. RICK was responsible for FP&A and finance operations for a $2.5 billion revenue line of business.

Before joining Charter Communications, Gunzel held the position of Senior Director of Finance at Time Warner Cable from January 2010 to May 2016. RICK played a strategic and tactical role in supporting a $3.5 billion line of business, focusing on revenue growth and providing operational and analytical support for sales, marketing, and product functions.

Gunzel's earlier experience includes roles at Comcast Cable, where they served as the Senior Director of Finance & Business Operations for the Northern Virginia region from March 2008 to December 2009. RICK also held roles as the Director of Finance National Engineering from December 2006 to March 2008, Director FP&A from April 2005 to December 2006, and Supervisor FP&A from December 2001 to April 2005. In these positions, they oversaw financial planning, analysis, and budgeting across a large subscriber base.

Gunzel began their career as an Analyst at Accenture, where they worked on financial and pharmaceutical market segments from September 2000 to October 2001. RICK provided expertise and support to clients in system administration and troubleshooting.

Rick Gunzel attended James Caldwell High School from 1991 to 1995. RICK then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from La Salle University, which they completed between 1995 and 1999.
