Houbara was formed to take on these challenges and as a strong UAE/UK Joint Venture between Middle East General Enterprises (MGE) and QinetiQ plc. It is also associated with the Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC), a leading UAE Defence enterprise.

We aim to collaborate, invest in and develop the engineering facilities required to assure current and future operational capabilities, and to support research and development for next-generation, autonomous capabilities.
