David Simpson

David Simpson is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design and design systems. Currently serving as a Senior Product Designer and Design System Specialist at Houseful since November 2020, David focuses on the creation, management, and maintenance of design systems for Zoopla and Alto brands. Prior to this role, David spent over 15 years at Auto Trader UK as a Principal Product Designer, where responsibilities included the development of design systems and new product landing pages. Earlier career experiences include positions as an Image Manipulation Technician at 2ndByte and an Image Library Assistant at WWF, as well as partnership at Jellytree Video Arts, focusing on production directing and editing. David holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art & Design specializing in Time-Based Media and Photography from the University of Wolverhampton and a National Diploma in Fine Art from Reigate School of Art.
