Michael Kienast

Michael Kienast has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Michael began their career at Evans Withycombe, where they worked as a Community Manager, Assistant Manager, and Leasing Agent from 1992 to 1996. Michael then moved on to roles as a Regional Property Manager at Aimco Apartment Homes from 1997 to 2000 and as a Regional Portfolio Manager at ConAm Management Corporation from 2000 to 2002.

In 2002, Kienast joined Bernard/Allison Management Services, Inc as a District Manager, overseeing multiple Community Managers and leading various property management operations. Michael was later promoted to a Team Leader position, taking on additional oversight responsibilities.

From 2007 to 2008, Kienast worked as a Principal and Designated Broker at Sara Reidhead Real Estate/Mountain Retreat Realty Services LLC. Michael handled the sales of single-family homes, primarily second homes.

In 2008, they joined MEB Management Services as a District Manager, where they supervised Community Managers and a Marketing Director in the management of a portfolio of properties. Michael was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Property Management Operations, leading a team of District Managers and overseeing significant revenue growth and increased NOI.

Most recently, Kienast has been working at Housing Connect as the Chief Operating Officer since August 2019.

Michael Kienast has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aeronautical Studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, they hold certifications as an Arizona Broker License from the Arizona Department of Real Estate and a Utah Broker License from the Utah Division of Real Estate.
