Amber Daniel

Amber Daniel is the Executive Director of Performance Management at Houston ISD. They have over a decade of experience teaching secondary mathematics in major cities such as Houston, Philadelphia, and South Los Angeles. Amber has also served as a Math Achievement Specialist for KIPP TX Houston and has taught graduate-level courses at esteemed institutions, including UPenn and Relay GSE. Their research focuses on Mathematical Knowledge for Teaching in relation to lesson planning. Currently residing in Richmond, TX, Amber is a new parent to a son named Ethan.
