Alan Pan

Alan Pan is a data scientist at Houston Methodist, where they have held multiple roles including lead data scientist, contributing to various centers focused on health data science and neuroinformatics. They completed a Master of Science in Epidemiology & Biostatistics from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Neurobiology and Neurosciences also from Northwestern. Currently, Alan is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Informatics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, expected to graduate in 2025. Previously, Alan worked as a data science associate at AbbVie and as a clinical outcomes project assistant at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Alan’s early research experience includes roles at MD Anderson Cancer Center and UTHealth, focusing on epidemiology and pathology.
