Alex Chen

Alex (Xi) Chen is an experienced HRIS professional currently serving as the Director of Corporate Applications (Workday) at Houston Methodist, where they manage the Workday HCM, FIN, and SCM systems. Previously, they held several leadership roles, including Director of HR Technology at Crown Castle and Director of People Technology at Pluralsight. Alex has a strong background in global HR policies across regions such as EMEA and APAC, and they have contributed to the implementation of various HR technologies, including PeopleSoft and Workday, during their tenure at companies like State Street and InnovAge. They earned a Master’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Psychology from Case Western Reserve University.
