Ben Weinstein

Ben Weinstein serves as a Clinical Professor at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UT McGovern Medical School since July 2018, while also holding the position of Chief of Service for Behavioral Health and Chair of Psychiatry at Houston Methodist since January 2016. Additionally, Ben Weinstein is an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine since August 2012, and previously held leadership roles at The Menninger Clinic, including Assessment Division Director and Director of Comprehensive Psychiatric Assessment and Stabilization. Earlier experience includes working as a Psychiatrist at Hickory Psychiatric Center from October 2009 to December 2010 and as an Assistant Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina from August 2004 to October 2009. Educational credentials include an MD in Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine (1994-1998) and a BS in Neuroscience from Washington and Lee University (1989-1993).
