Mark Jones, RN, BSN, is a dedicated registered nurse with extensive experience in high-acuity settings, currently working at Houston Methodist as part of a comprehensive stroke center since April 2021. Previously, Mark worked at Memorial Hermann Health System in a Level 3 trauma center and served as an academic tutor for nursing students at Alvin Community College, where individualized study plans were developed to enhance student performance. Mark’s educational journey includes an ongoing Doctorate of Nursing Practice at The University of Texas Medical Branch, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and two associate degrees from Alvin Community College in Registered Nursing and Health Science. Prior to nursing, Mark also taught English as a Second Language, focusing on lesson preparation and conflict mediation in the classroom.
