De-Wei Ye

De-Wei Ye is an experienced software engineer currently working at Houzz as a Software Engineer II since August 2021, where ownership of the legacy email and push notification system has been taken. Prior to this role, De-Wei served as a Server Engineer at Akatsuki Taiwan from July 2020 to July 2021, focusing on maintaining a mobile game server for approximately 1 million daily active users. Experience also includes a software QA internship at KKStream Limited, where automated end-to-end tests were built using Node. De-Wei's background features a research assistant role at National Taiwan University, analyzing energy transfer dynamics in computational chemistry, as well as alternative military service at the National Palace Museum. De-Wei holds a Master of Science in Data Science and Smart Networking and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, both from National Taiwan University.
