Jacob Chen

Jacob Chen is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various technical roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Houzz since March 2021, Jacob is responsible for the internal AB test platform, focusing on refining legacy code through refactoring and unit testing. Prior to this role, Jacob held positions at Flow, Inc. as a Software Architect and Technical Manager, where responsibilities included designing Scrum processes and building web platforms for AI data labeling. Jacob's earlier experience features roles as a Software Developer at Juvo+, Senior Software Engineer at Etu Big Data with a focus on a scalable recommender system, and engineering positions at PChome Online, Mercue Technologies, Inc., and Infortrend. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from National Taiwan University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
