Benoit Maranda

Benoit Maranda, AIA, serves as the Senior Manager of Operations at Hover since January 2025. Prior to this role, Benoit held an adjunct faculty position at the Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism in late 2024, teaching Comprehensive Housing Studio. From July 2022 to June 2024, Benoit was the Operations Lead, Architecture at Cottage, where significant contributions included optimizing project lifecycles and launching Cottage Seattle. As a Technical Design Manager, Benoit enhanced design standards for over 200 ADU projects and improved internal processes, resulting in a 70% drop in RFIs. Earlier experience includes architectural roles at KieranTimberlake and Hobin Architecture, as well as project management for energy research at the Urbandale Center. Benoit earned a Master of Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Architectural Studies from Carleton University, with an academic exchange at the University of Westminster.
