Bin Chen

Bin Chen has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Bin is currently working at HOVER Inc. as a Sr. Director of Engineering, leading R&D efforts for core 3D reconstruction technologies and pipelines. Bin manages an engineering division and is responsible for long-term direction, product discovery and delivery, strategy and roadmap, and team management processes.

Prior to their current role, Bin worked at HERE Technologies as an Engineering Manager II, Lead Software Developer, and Senior Software Engineer. Bin also had the experience of working at Munkadoo Games LLC as a Developer and at Microsoft as an SDE and SDET.

Bin Chen earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego, graduating in 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree specializing in Computer Science and Graphics at UC San Diego, completing it in 2009.
