Dean Riskas

Dean Riskas is the VP of Corporate Development and Business Development at HOVER. Dean has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on venture debt.

Riskas began their career in 1988 as a co-founder of Trinity Advisors, Inc., where they provided lessor advisory services to institutional investors in connection with highly structured, domestic and cross-border leveraged lease transactions. In 2004, they left Trinity Advisors to start Atherton Vista Capital Corporation, a firm that specialized in leveraged privatizations of selected US municipal assets.

In 2005, Riskas joined TriplePoint Capital as Managing Director and President of North America. At TriplePoint, they were responsible for leading the company's venture debt practice. Dean successfully completed over 50 financings totaling more than $1 billion during their six years with the firm.

In 2011, Riskas left TriplePoint to join HOVER as VP of Corporate Development and Business Development. In this role, they are responsible for leading HOVER's initiatives to drive growth through strategic partnerships, M&A activity, and business development opportunities.

Dean Riskas has an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dean also has certification from FINRA Series 79.

Dean Riskas works with Ian Cummins - Head of SMB & Growth Sales, Cindy Wurth - VP, Sales Excellence. Dean Riskas reports to Ali Azhar, Chief Revenue Officer.
