Jayda Roach is an undergraduate student at Howard University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Services. Currently serving as a Student Intern in the Howard University 1867 Undergraduate Assistantship Program, Jayda engages in significant learning and networking opportunities. Jayda has volunteered with the Howard University Alternative Spring Break initiative, aiding underserved communities in Philadelphia during Spring Break 2023. Additionally, Jayda completed an internship with HBCU First, focusing on mentoring potential HBCU students and promoting leadership and career development. In the previous academic year, Jayda held the position of Freshman Senator-At-Large in the Howard University Student Association, uniquely representing the freshman class of over 2,700 students. Jayda also participated in a Medical Summer Immersion Program at Wake Forest University, specializing in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
