Liz Mitchell

Liz Mitchell, LICSW, began their social work career in 1983 in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and has held various positions in psychiatric units, school districts, and adult care facilities. After moving to Vermont in the early 2000s, they dedicated over a decade to the Early Childhood Family Mental Health Program at Howard Center, progressing from clinician to Intake Coordinator and then to Assistant Director. In 2023, Mitchell became the Director of Home and Community Programs at Howard Center. They hold a Master of Social Service degree from Bryn Mawr College and a Bachelor of Arts from Cedar Crest College.
