Ben Wheller

Ben Wheller has extensive experience in logistics and operations management, currently serving as Warehouse Operations Manager at Howdens since July 2016, following a secondment as Warehouse Shift Manager. Wheller previously held the role of XDC Operations Manager, where responsibilities included building and managing cross dock centers to facilitate next-day delivery services. As Contract Operations Supervisor, Wheller oversaw various third-party logistics transport sites, emphasizing safety and cost-effectiveness. Ben began a career in logistics with a two-year graduate scheme, securing diverse experience, including a year-long placement in finance at Howdens Joinery Co and a role in the bid team at BAM Construct UK. Early career positions included customer service at McDonald's Corporation and sales at Toys R Us. Academically, Ben holds dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Business/Commerce and Business/Managerial Economics from Northumbria University.
