David Sobotka, CPCU, ARe, is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with extensive experience in claims management. Currently serving as a Global Claim Advisor at Howden Re since March 2025, David previously held significant roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance as a Claim Adjuster and Supervisor, and at AIG as a Regional Claim Examiner. From December 1984 until his retirement in April 2025, David was the Managing Director at Guy Carpenter, specializing in complex reinsurance claims resolution. David also contributed as Chairman of the BRMA claims committee. David holds a BA in Business Administration from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
