Sam Gardner

Sam Gardner is a seasoned reinsurance broker with extensive experience in the industry. They began their career as an Assistant Vice President at Guy Carpenter from 2001 to 2005, followed by positions at Benfield as Associate Director and Aon Benfield as Production and Marketing Executive, where they led the Energy Team from 2007 to 2015. Sam continued to excel at Howden Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers from 2015 to 2021 as Executive Director and Head of Global Fac. Currently, they serve as Managing Director at Howden Re, leveraging their expertise in reinsurance. Sam holds a degree in Marine Geography from Cardiff University, completed in 2001.
