Michael Capps is an experienced leader with a diverse background in artificial intelligence, video games, defense, and wristwatches. Notable positions include President of Scion Studios at Epic Games, where foundational work on the Unreal franchise was accomplished, and roles on the boards of various organizations such as the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, IGDA, and the Entertainment Software Association. As founder and CEO of Howso, Michael focuses on developing human-understandable AI technology. Michael's extensive education includes advanced degrees in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a master's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
