Ek Chiang

EK Chiang is an experienced Senior Firmware Program Manager and BIOS PM at HP since July 2018, responsible for the firmware program management of new notebook product launches and HP Docking products. Prior to HP, EK served as a BIOS technical PM at Acer from September 2014 to July 2018, where responsibilities included the design of architecture for gaming notebook CPU and dGPU overclocking. EK's experience also includes multiple roles at Compal from November 2007 to September 2014, initially starting as a BIOS Design Engineer focused on debugging and release processes, and later advancing to BIOS Design Leader, managing projects from RFQ to mass production. EK holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, earned between January 2002 and January 2006.
