Greg Long

Greg Long has a strong academic and professional background in chemistry and materials science. Long served as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Minnesota State University, Mankato from January 1998 to January 2001. Subsequently, Long worked at HP from January 2015 to October 2019 in various roles, including Senior Material Scientist, WW Metrology Lead, and Master Technologist in both Material Science and Metrology as well as Material Chemistry. Long specializes in the development and application of advanced techniques such as X-ray diffraction and electrochemical methods for failure analysis and material characterization. Long holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Physics from the University of California, Davis and a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Washington State University.
