Qian Lin, PhD, is an experienced technology executive specializing in AI, computer vision, and deep learning. Currently serving as an HP Fellow and VP, Qian leads research and development in machine learning and vision systems at HP. With a prolific portfolio of 51 granted patents, Qian has successfully delivered imaging and video algorithms for millions of products. In addition, Qian supervises PhD students as an adjunct professor at Purdue University. Recognized as a fellow of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology, Qian has received several awards, including the Outstanding Electrical and Computer Engineer Award from Purdue University.
