Russell Fredrickson

Russell Fredrickson is an experienced ASIC architect with a career spanning over two decades, currently employed at HP since July 2013. In this role, Russell focuses on the architecture, design, and verification of complex ASICs for inkjet and laser multi-function printers, serving as the lead architect in Consumer Printing ASIC. Previous roles at HP include Expert Level ASIC Design and Verification Engineer and Firmware Development Engineer, where Russell significantly contributed to algorithm convergence and low-level firmware development. Prior to his current position, Russell worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Silicon Labs, leading a digital design team for mixed-signal integrated circuits. Russell began professional experience as an ASIC Design and Verification Engineer at HP and as a Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, where Russell obtained a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
