Stephen Schaefer

Stephen Schaefer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in user experience and design, currently serving as a Distinguished Technologist in Future Customer Experience at HP since November 2022. Prior to this role, Stephen spent over two decades at Polycom, starting as a User Experience Architect where responsibilities included team leadership, principal engineering, and focusing on customer-centric design solutions. Stephen's expertise encompasses UX design for both software and hardware, interaction design, technical leadership, and engaging in executive communications and presentations. Previous roles include Senior User Experience Designer and Technical Trainer at Polycom, as well as a Technical Trainer at VTEL and Video Conference Coordinator at St. Philip's College. Stephen holds a BA in Business Communications from Trinity University and an MA in Adult Learning from Texas A&M University.
