Thorsten Lang

Thorsten Lang has extensive experience in tax management, particularly in indirect taxes and supply chain taxation. From January 2017 to June 2023, Thorsten served as Vice President and Head of International Tax and Global Indirect Taxes at HP, overseeing global VAT and transaction taxes. Prior to that, at Hewlett Packard Enterprise from November 2004 to October 2015, Thorsten held the position of Vice President and Global Head of Indirect Taxes and Tax Supply Chain, focusing on worldwide transaction taxes. Thorsten’s career began with roles in the German Tax Authorities from November 1996 to December 1999 as a Tax Auditor. Thorsten holds a Certified Tax Advisor degree from FH Ludwigsburg and a Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH) in Taxation from the same institution.
