BJ Gehrki has extensive work experience in the construction industry. BJ started their career at Kiewit in 2005, where they held various management positions until 2018. From 2018 to 2022, Gehrki worked at The Graham Group, Inc. Construction Division as the Vice President and General Manager. In 2021, they became the President of the Design Build Institute of America | MAR Nebraska Chapter. Currently, Gehrki serves as the President of HPM, Inc. - HPM Contracting, starting in 2022.

BJ Gehrki attended Millard North High School from 1994 to 1998. BJ then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, graduating in the year 2003.
