Ray Hallquist has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ray began their career at Kiewit in 1995, where they worked as a Project Manager/Project Engineer until 2005. In 2005, they became one of the founding members of Kiewit Federal Group, a subdivision of Kiewit based in Washington DC, focusing on federal clients including USACE, NavFac, DOE, DOD, and other three-letter agencies. Ray served as a Project Executive in this role until 2013, handling mission-critical projects. From 2013 to 2015, Ray worked as a Project Executive at Kiewit, responsible for building operations, estimating, planning and scheduling, document control, procurement, and cost control. Ray also worked on the Denver VA project, managing the legal effort. In 2015, Ray transitioned to the role of Estimating Director at Kiewit until 2017. Since 2017, Ray has been the CEO/President of HPM Contracting, a General Contracting company with offices across the United States. Ray Hallquist attended Evergreen High School from 1986 to 1988. Ray then pursued a degree in Aeronautical Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1988 to 1991. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado, completing their studies from 1991 to 1994.
