Qais A.

Qais A. has been working in the tech industry since 2005. Qais'sfirst role was as a Data Communications Engineer for the United States Marine Corps, where they were responsible for Aviation Communication Systems and oversaw the design and maintenance of Aviation and Ground Radio's. Qais also held the role of Cryptologic Linguist. In 2009, Qais A. moved to Salient CRGT as a Systems Engineer III and Field Engineer, Systems Engineer II. In this role, they were a Subject Matter Expert for C-RAM and Operation Iraqi Freedom and developed Training Material, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Manuals and Bulletins. In 2013, they moved to KBR, Inc. as a Systems Engineer V (Subject Matter Expert). In 2016, they Co-Founded Traktec, LLC (dba iGPS Watch) and served as CTO. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of HQE Systems, Inc.

Qais A. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University between 2004 and 2008. Qais then attended the Marine Corps University between 2005 and 2006 to gain a Communication & Electronics Engineering degree. In 2017, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Qais also holds three certifications, including SiRcom Siren System Subject Matter Expert from SiRcom GmbH (obtained in May 2018), Subject Matter Expert from Whelen Engineering, and WAVES Subject Matter Expert from Eaton.
