Mike Dent

Mike Dent is an Emeritus Professor at Staffordshire University since September 1999. Mike holds the title of Professor of Health Care Organisation and is involved in research and teaching focused on the sociology of health care professions, comparative health care organisation, and e-health systems. Mike also serves as a Lay representative at Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership, a Visiting Professor at University of Leicester, a Committee member at International Sociology Association, and Chair WG03 Voice at COST IS0903. Mike holds a PhD in Sociology from University of Warwick, an MA in Sociology from University of Essex, and a BSc in Sociology from North London Polytechnic.
