Robert Curran

Robert Curran is the Senior Director of Administration & Operations at HQP. Prior to their current role, they served as the Principal at Convergent Healthcare Solutions, LLC from August 2014 to January 2017. At Convergent, Robert was responsible for integrating physician practices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehab facilities, home health care, and other related healthcare entities into Clinical Integrated Networks and Accountable Care Organizations. Robert provided consulting services spanning the healthcare ecosystem specializing in strategic planning for governance models and payor contracting, and tactical implementation of Business Intelligence platforms to support network integration and data sharing including project management, administrative and clinical quality metrics, workflows, care coordination and EHR/EMR/PM data integration.

Previously, Robert served as the HIT Team Lead at Quality Insights of Delaware from August 2013 to August 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of health information technology professionals who implemented and supported health information systems.

Before that, Robert worked as the VeriScan BarCode POC System Sales at Hospira from January 2008 to December 2009. In this role, they were responsible for selling Hospira's VeriScan BarCode POC System to hospital customers.

Prior to that, Robert served as the VP Professional Services and Software Sales Executive at Eclipsys from January 2000 to December 2004. In this role, they were responsible for selling Eclipsys' software products and professional services to hospital customers.

Robert Curran has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Arcadia University. Robert also has a certification from Coursera in Health Informatics on FHIR from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Robert also has a certification from Coursera in HICATT - Health Informatics for IT/IS from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Biomedical Informatics. Robert also has a certification from Coursera in HI-FIVE: Health Informatics For Innovation, Value & Enrichment (Clinical Perspective) from Columbia University. Additionally, they are certified by HIMSS as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) and by AHIMA as a HIT Pro Implementation Manager. Finally, they are certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
