Matthew Winter

Matthew Winter is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industries. Currently serving as a Board Member for The Hartford, ADT, and H&R Block since 2017 and 2018, Winter has also held a long-term position as a Board Member at Allstate since 2011, following a successful tenure as President and Senior Executive Vice President within the company. Winter's leadership at Allstate included managing Auto, Home, and Consumer Household businesses, as well as overseeing the Life and Retirement business at Allstate Financial. Winter's prior roles include Vice Chairman at AIG and President and CEO at AIG American General. Educational qualifications include a LL.M. in Law from the University of Virginia School of Law and a JD in Law from Albany Law School, complemented by a BS in Natural Resource Management from the University of Michigan.
